Patricia Vickers Poetry Reading

Printer-friendly version

May 7, 2014, 7:30 pm

Patricia Vickers completed her doctorate degree in 2008 studying the transformative teachings of the Ayaawx (Ts'msyen Ancestral Law). While attempting to articulate the abstract perspectives found in the adaawx (sacred stories) the sm'algyax language, and a history of cultural oppression, she discovered the satisfaction of saying it with a few words.

She will be reading from "Unfurled: collected poetry from Northen BC Women" and her latest works.
