 This book details the story of trade and development of the West Coast.  Canada's Pacific Gateway: Realizing the Vision by local author Dr. W.B.M. Hick was donated by Michael Gurney and the Prince Rupert Port Authority.  The book details the account of the people behind the vital rail and sea links that focus on Vancouver and Prince Rupert.
