23. Giclee Acid Free Paper Print - “How the Deer Lost it's Tail” by Alexander Clifton Ridley

The print is inspired by a story the artist's mother used to tell him about a Deer, who was bragging to all the other creatures about how high he could jump. To prove his story the deer jumped over the fire and burned his tail and this is the reason why deer tails are so short.  Given the oral story that inspired the work, we thought it needed no other work to be paired with.
