Leah said, “To be honest when I saw the pattern for this afghan I laughed – how could I not? I have been informed by friends young and not young that mermaids are in and that this type of blanket is quite popular. So I got off the rocks and dived in using super soft and easy to care yarn to make this cuddly and fun blanket. I am also including a Disney Little Mermaid story book and colouring book to keep you busy while you snuggle on the couch. I purchased the yarn locally from Coastal Fibers and it took a long, long weekend to create.” I paired this donation with Disney’s Little Mermaid DVD with the feeling that Hans Christian Anderson might not be amused.
