"I made stocking by tweaking a pattern published by the Chesiwick Company. I used 100% wool much of it up-cycled from Harris Tweed-type castaways that I then felted and dyed myself. The pieces were appliqued and embroidered by hand. One of my favourite Christmas stories is The Christmas We Moved to the Barn by Alexandra Day because it is almost entirely beautiful illustrations with no words, so you can tell the story yourself. I would be happy to applique a name on the top of the stocking for no extra charge if the winning bidder would like that.
