31. Two Small Art Quilts by Ellen Witherly
Inspired by a workshop that Ellen took last summer at the famed Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show in Sisters, Oregon. Deborah Boschert, author of Art Quilt Collage, a creative journey in fabric paint and stitch, taught the class . Both little quilts are ready for hanging, using recycled pull tabs, and are lightweight enough that pins should suffice. The “windy tree” makes Ellen think of the classic Who Has Seen the Wind, by W.O. Mitchell.
