This quilt was created by the Coastal Quilters for the wedding of Lorna Nelson and Brian Osborne in July 2005. One of Lorna's favourite colours is purple, which was used as a theme colour for the wedding. The quilters took this idea one step further by incorporating the idea of "passion." Friends of Lorna's that don't quilt, but want to participate, donated many of the fabrics. This provided a challenge and resulted in different palette than the Coastal Quilers are accustomed to.
