Inspired by the poem "The Cremation of Sam McGee", this has been a project Dolly has long wanted to do. Initially, it was planned as paint on silk, but a new interest in mosaics brought this piece into being. Special thanks from Dolly to her instructor and friend Sandra Cummings for helping her develop her own style in her studio.
