St. John Ambulance began in Canada in 1882. In B.C. St. John Ambulance began first aid training for logging in 1906 and mining in 1910. The Branch in Prince Rupert was officially registered February 2, 1968. Service Provided:
St. John Ambulance provides a variety of course types to meet all your first aid needs.
St. John Ambulance is the only trained agency in B.C. to have two courses that have been granted the WCB LEVEL 1 equivalency. Successful students who complete any of our Emergency or Standard First Aid Courses are covered by $ 1 Million liability insurance, students also receive a nationally recognized certificate. The Brigade:St. John Ambulance Brigade are uniformed volunteers who provide First Aid services at public events and deliver community health care services. The brigade is supported through donations for the work they do in the community and the net revenues of the training division - it is not supported by Government agencies. First Aid Kits and Products:St. John Ambulance has a large variety of First Aid kits to meet all of your first aid needs. St. John Ambulance first aid kits also meet the high level of quality required from WCB.
