Will Webster is a long time BC poet and co-founder of CAW with A. Perston when it emerged newly incarnated in Southern Ontario, where they played the Club, SAC, NAC, and various festivals of poetry including the El Macombo in the early 90s.

Webster has written poetry since he was a child, has traveled the length and breadth of Canada, surviving by his wits and more than once, purely on his poetry. His poems are raw free-verse stylings that are best shouted, read aloud; they reflect the turbulent life Webster has led.

Will Webster is infamous for his rousing public performances in his irascible quest for his own truth. He is a poet for our time, a man who wakes to his own religion according to Perston.
