31. Lace Shawl

Printer-friendly version

Inspired by the shawls and lace in classics like Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, this lace shawl was knit using hand painted yarn made from Bluefaced Leicester (wool).  Likely more colourful than what was worn in Anne's time but just as good at keeping the shoulders and neck warm and decorated.  The pattern was designed by Laura Nelkin.
