27. Wool Beanies by Rosa Robichaud

These one hundred percent wool beanies each took four hours to create plus twelve dollars in materials. One is in earthy green and brown tweed, while the other is in a more liquid shades of blue, either would be great to keep your head warm in the winter to come. We've paired it with Warm Clothes by Gail Saunders-Smith.

26. Pastel Painting of “Donas” by Robin Knox

An original pastel done on suede matboard, which imparts a lovely softness, of Donas, a black Friesian stallion ridden expertly by Jamie Fraser, and reluctantly by Claire Randall, in Diana Gabaldon’s book Outlander. Robin says the painting took about 5 hours to create and the materials cost $25.00, so she would like the minimum bid to be $25.00.

25. Funky Side Table by Alan Carl

A one-of-a-kind hand-made table, with a top of live-edge red cedar from a beach-combed log and legs made from alder. Alan’s artistic and beautifully crafted table would enhance any decor, from Country to Natural to Eclectic. We have chosen Decorate Fearlessly! by Susanna Salk from the library’s many books on personal style.

24. Crate of Bounty by Dolly Harasym

Dolly has always been a gardener, crafter and hunter-gatherer and wants to share her enthusiasm for eating local, organically-grown or gathered foods by offering this extensive sampler of foods from this area. She has included a Spaghetti Squash and some Red Russian Garlic from her garden and four ice-dyed napkins for wiping chins and fingers after consuming the delectables! This offering took countless hours to create, and Dolly would like a minimum bid of $100.00. Library staff have chosen Canadian Living’s The Complete Preserving Book to accompany this generous crate.

23. Eco-Art Mirror by Moyna MacIlroy

Mirror with wood-frame covered with shells and rocks found on the Haida Gwaii, which would look lovely in any setting. Look closely to find the tiny agates. Paired with She Sheds by Erika Kotite, a book with eclectic decorating ideas.

A beautiful quart jar of pickled beets, a delicious treat at this time of year. Valued at $5.00 to make, paired with the Complete Book of Small Batch Preserving by Ellie Topp and Margaret Howard, which includes a good basic recipe for pickled beets.

20. 3 Little Mischievous Elves by Emerald Murphy

These little elves were very finicky to knit and would love to serve as soft toys or adorn a mantle. It took Emerald about three hours to make each elf. Paired with The Little World of Elves and Fairies.
