Four dozen squares of decadent fudgy goodness, served on a pebbled glass platter, complete with a brownie spatula! Yummy. Got Milk? Ingredients include pecans. We’ve paired Beth’s world famous baking with Fat Witch Brownies by Patricia Helding.

Dale’s son Greg White is the talented artist who created this artwork. This print is from Greg’s Borders and Boundaries Series. More info available at www.gregorywhite.ca. We paired Greg’s work with The Sea Wolves by Ian McAllister & Nicholas Read.

25. Handmade Vintage Paris Inspired Journal or Memory/Idea/ Guest/Vacation Book by Anne Jordan Leckie

For your most treasured memories. Inspired by the The Paris Wife by Paula McLean. There are 5 signatures hand sewn into the journal with cotton thread. Some pages have been coffee dyed, some have been treated with distressed ink to create a vintage feel. Also included are journaling cards, some Paris inspired stamping, a bookmark and other little surprises to discover through out. Made from 50% recycled materials. Anne wrote “I make handmade books because of my love of reading and books." This donation took many hours to created and Anne would like to see a minimum bid of $15.

27. Three Pints of Laura-made Antipasto by Laura Esposito

Laura wrote “This antipasto recipe appeared in the Trail Daily News over 60 years ago. My mom tried it, liked it and a tradition was born! Antipasto means 'before the meal' (aniti-(before) & pasto-(meal)).Traditionally the first course in an Italian meal is a variety of cold cuts, melons, pickles, cheeses, olives, etc. This the bottled variety of the first course. Buon Appetito." We have chosen Perfect Italian by Parragon Books to accompany this donation. Laura would like to see a minimum bid of $10 per pint.

28. Hand Knit Baby Blanket by Laura Esposito

Laura wrote "Making crafts is a very enjoyable way to relax and keep your hands occupied. This baby blanket was knit with a variegated array of pastel colors in my version of the basket weave stitch." We chose the insanely popular (check out the chewed pages) toddler’s book Blankie by Leslie Patricelli to accompany Laura’s lovely and soft “blankie” Laura would appreciate a minimum bid of $25.00.

15. Christmas Table Runner by Sandra Duffus

Sandra says, “This is called a 10 minute runner because it’s easy to make and looks nice. It’s a great little hostess gift if you are out to supper or just visiting a friend. I was taught this pattern while visiting in Scotland." We paired this cute table runner with the book Christmas Joys by Country Living.

10. Mystery Quilt, designed by Pam Mahoney, quilted by Sandra Duffus

"I signed up for the Mystery Quilt project while visiting Prince Rupert and each month a package came to Delta for me to complete. If you didn’t complete your block that month a $10 fine was called. The quilt top was finally completed but not put together until I returned to Prince Rupert in 2006." This quilt is 68” X 78” and was professionally quilted by Betty Doerksin of the Cotton Picking Patch in Terrace and cost about $450.00. We have paired this lovely quilt with the book Houses by Carol Iverson.

22. Shades of Green Hand Knit Scarf by Anonymous Knitter

Mz. Knitter says the shades of green make the scarf look fresh and lively. It is also soft and cozy. We chose A Life in Stitches by Rachael Herron to accompany Anonymous Knitter’s scarf.

08. Five Home-made Envelopes by Renata Neftin

These 5 envelopes were created from pretty, but outdated wall calendars. Address label stickers are included. Perfect for people who are still mailing letters and cards by snail-mail. Always appreciated by the receivers. We paired Renata’s lovely envelopes with the book Eco Craft by Susan Wasinger.

09. “The Weasel” comic book, first edition by Fox Kris Neftin

Fox is a regular visitor to our library and a great help with our book sale books. “The Weaselzzz” super hero series was created by by Fox all by himself, because he wanted to create a new super hero. Fox spent weeks and months drawing and colouring his creation and we are thrilled to have a first edition of "The Weasel" and “The Weasel Volume 2” Fox wants us to know that he is ‘the Weasel’ as he describes in his comic books. Spider-Man is a big influence for Fox, so we paired his work with Marvel Comics' The Savage Land.
