The Library is on the southwest corner of 6th Avenue and McBride Street (Yellowhead Highway 16).
Public Transit
The Library is served by BC Transit routes 53 - Crestview* and 60 - Port Edward*, and route 51 - Seal Cove* is within walking distance. For other routes, we are about a 10 minute walk from the major downtown bus stop at Ocean Centre.

NOTE: Beginning with Family Day (Monday, February 17 2020), the library will remain open on the weekends adjacent to statutory holidays (Saturday and Sunday in spring, fall and winter / Saturday in summer), but closed on the statutory holiday itself. Consult the main page for any notices regarding holiday schedule changes.
* - The placement of the Public Library on the maps of these routes and several of the other maps is not accurate as of July 12, 2019. We have notified BC Transit of this.
