Accessibility Services

The Prince Rupert Public Library is committed to making our services accessible for all patrons. We are an active member of the Prince Rupert and Area Accessibility Committee, a community initiative focused on improving access and inclusion for people with disabilities, established in Spring 2023.

Our 2024 Accessibility Plan was adopted at the October 28, 2024 City Council meeting. A printed copy is available at the circulation desk.

New: Sensory Kits are now available for use in the library or to take home. Each kit includes items to help with regulation, prevent overwhelm, and provide sensory input. Ask at the front desk.
