34 - Gumboot Girls Book and 4 Dance Your Hearts Out Tickets by the Gumboot Girls
Four tickets for the big dance on November 7th @ 8 pm @ Raffles Bar and a copy of the renowned local book Gumboot Girls: Adventure, Love & Survival on British Columbia's North Coast.
33 - Child's Activity Table Tent & Toys by Joan Patriquin
This tent drapes over a table and features a pupper theatre on one side and a three port hole submarine on the other. It has a vinyl top for the messy crafts kids get up to and includes a selection of soft toys and puppets. We've paired it with Making Things by Dawn Sirett and Lara Tankel.
32 - Purple Flower Vest by Jean Clerihue and Trish Branighen
Jean left behind several unfinished projects, better known as UFOs. Jean thinks she had so many creative ideas in her head that she laid aside one item as new inspiration took her. We've paired it with Coastal Beauty by Neil L. Jennings.
31 - Teal & Black Vest by Jean Clerihue and Trish Branighen
Embellished vest, one of the last created by the late Jean Clerihue, and completed by Trish Banighen. For inspiration, a quote from Shakespeare: “And as imagination bodies forth the forms of things unknown, the [textile artist] turns them to shape...” We've paired it with Heart and Soul by Maeve Binchy.
30 - Red Rock Pillow by Robin Knox
Made as part of a four day art workshop in Sedona, Arizona, it was inspired by the red rocks that serve as background for many of Louis L'Amour's western novels. This pillow is approximately 18” per side. We've paired it with The Rustlers of West Fork by Louis L'Amour.
27 - Baby Quilt and Clothes by Beth Diamond
A roughly 3' x 4' quilt and a selection of 6M sized baby clothes from Gagou Tagou, this pale green colour scheme would be good for a girl or boy. Includes two bibs, two hats, a top and bottom and a onesie. We've paired it with On the Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman.
26 - Children's Decorative Pillow by Jean Clerihue and Trish Banighen
This pillow uses crazy-quilt and applique in a very free-form fashion, reminiscent of a dream sequence or "stream of consciousness". We've paired it with I Spy Fun House: a Book of Picture Riddles by Walter Wick & Jean Marzollo.
25 - Polar Bear Wall Hanging by Ellen Witherly
Made from one of the Rob Appel Endangered Species patterns, this polar bear wall hanging is over four feet wide and is made from more than 50 individual fabric pieces and his hand embellished with beading. It was inspired by Can We Save Them?: Endangered Species of North America by David Dobson.
24 - Oriental-Themed Cushion by Jean Clerihue and Trish Banighen
This is an Oriental-themed cushion top was created by Jean Clerihue and finished by Trish Banighen, and approximately 15" across. It's been paired with Super Simple Japanese Art: Fun and Easy Art from Around the World by Alex Kuskowski.
23 - Tea Brewing System by Lorne Clerihue
This is a tea-brewing system that combines a covered cup with fitted strainer and includes two satchets of five different varieties of tea. (Varie-teas?) We've paired the item with Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Fight Terrorism and Build Nations — One School at a Time.
