Community Feedback Survey

We're looking for community feedback ahead of our strategic planning meetings in April. We want the Prince Rupert Library to continue to be a welcoming, useful, and meaningful place for everyone in our community.

Do you have a few minutes to let us know how you think we're doing, or what we could be doing to better serve Prince Rupert and our surrounding communities?

The survey can be completed online.

Physical copies can be picked up at the circulation desk.

Coastal Conversations with Dr. Allison Oliver

Ecosystem Linkages From Mountains to Maritime

Coastal ecosystems of the northern  BC coast are uniquely shaped by the exchange of resources between land and sea. This connection links all life, cycles nutrients, and defines local food webs. We'll explore what makes our region unique, what we know about these ecosystem relationships, and how that knowledge might help us shape the future of our coast.

Thursday, March 26th 7-8 pm
Free admission.

Writer's Social

Join our casual drop-in writer's group at the library! Open to anyone interested in pursuing creativity through writing.

There will be the option of warm-up prompts, short exercises, or working on existing projects. Sharing your work will always be encouraged, but is never mandatory.

February Catch-up

What an exciting February we had at the library!

We had our first queer event with visiting drag king Justin Abit hosting an adults-only event on Valentines, reading the spicy scenes from Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid.

We also had an excellent view of the games the All Native Basketball Tournament from our outreach table in the arena.

Our fish are growing; they've mostly lost their yolks but still have a bit of a belly. Their early attempts at swimming, however, have them going backwards rather than forwards.

Your Prince Rupert Library card also provides access to CELA and Libby. If you have any questions about these available services, please ask at the circulation desk.
