April is behind us, and what a month it was!
We launched our new website April 1st, no joke. If you haven't checked it out yet, you definitely should. We're looking for feedback on it if you have any.
The mural in our new Teen Zone is finished, and the books have made it off of the carts and onto their permanent shelves. Now we're just waiting for the rest of the furniture to arrive.
Our pods are both extremely popular. They're excellent for having private conversations, dulling distractions, or taking a moment to yourself if you're feeling overstimulated. Pods can be reserved in advance, or used drop-in if available. Please sign in with the circulation staff to use a pod.
A few of our staff attended the BCLA library conference in Richmond in April, coming home with new ideas and swag stickers.
We had a blast again at Earth Day. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to talk, draw, and play Lego with us!
Finally,
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete our community feedback survey. Your contributions are invaluable and important to us as we continue to strive to be welcoming and meaningful to everyone in our community. We are going through responses now. Your feedback will help shape the library's strategic plan, set for completion later this year.
T’oyaxsut nüüsm
Thank you all.
