This picture, entitled "Smudging Ceremony", is a representation of a Native healing ceremony.  Donated by Hans and Irmgard Buchholz from Studio 9, it was coupled with Interpretive Contexts for Traditional and Current Coast Tsimshian Feasts by Margaret Seguin.  This is a limited edition print of the original painting by Nathalie Parenteau, signed and numbered by the artist.
