Sean Brown: Tuques by Mary Bond 2nd Lot generously donated to the library, this collection of tuques is made in a variety of styles, colours and yarns. Mary has been knitting for over 70 years and uses only high quality fibres for her projects. Auction separately. Paired with “The Knit Hat Book” by Nicky Epstein.
A- bulky yarn, dusty rose colour, minimal lace with bends techniques
B- in Pima cotton, peony colour, fronded chevron lace with waved trim
C- 100% wool, confetti colour, rolled single twisted cable edging
D- in Peruvian Highland wool, rose-hip colour, reverse chevron with open lace spacing
E- in Peruvian Highland wool, lavender blue colour, flapper style
