Trish Banighen: Pioneer Dolls: beautiful handmade dolls lovingly made by using recycled fabrics and scraps from formal wear, party favours, antique handkerchiefs etc. The hair was made from threads trimmed from unraveled edges. These dolls are not suitable as playthings for children; they are suitable for display as collectibles. Such old-fashioned dolls recall “ The World of Little House” about the life and writings of Laura Ingalls Wilder.
