The design for this quilt was adapted from a photo in a stained glass magazine. Gale layered it in 3 stages to give more depth – as it would have been done in glass. Gale used a magnifying glass to get the shading in the separate pieces of fabric. The "Fly" was Gale's idea to go with the rod. This quilt was completed on April 20, 1998.
