Ella made this quilt as part of an Orphan Blocks class by Pam Mahoney. This quilt was professionally quilted by Betty Doering in 2008.

This quilt design was adapted from a pattern called Pennsylvania Turnpike. Sandra pieced the quilt in April 2009, and had her work professionally quilted by Betty Doering of Terrace, BC.
