04. Knitted Hat and Cowl Set

A knitted hat and cowl, knitted in the Fair Isle style with bands of color.  Created by Marie Tautmann, inspired by Issue 25 of The Knitter: "Christmas Collection".  It took two weeks to create and the knitter is from South Africa.

03. Sweater and Scarf for Teddy Bear

Brightly knitted sweater and scarf for a small teddy, using the Fair Isle style of knitting.  Created by Marie Trautmann, it was inspired by The Country Diary Book of Knitting by Annette Mitchell.

01 & 02. Hand Carved and Painted Loons

Two beautiful, hand-carved wooden loons.  Donated by Hans and Irmgard Buchholz from Studio 9, these two loons were hand-crafted by Al Cazes of Burnaby. Carved from Western Red Cedar, this submission was coupled with Haida Gwaii : Human History and Environment from the Time of Loon to the Time of the Iron People by Daryl Fedje.
