36. Grumpy Bird Bag
You can use this bird themed tote bag to carry Grumpy Bird by Jeremy Tankard, the book it was inspired by. Donated by Mariana Hulsen, the bag features a three panel design and is about two feet wide, able to be filled with a lot of library books or other things.
34 & 35. First Nations Art Cards
These sets of 4 art cards depicting first nations legends donated by Alexander Clifton Ridley can adorn your home while you read Persistance and Change: A History of the Ts'myen Nation by Kenneth Campbell.
33. iPad case with Haida Pole
Inspired by the work of Emily Carr (and coupled with Emily Carr: An Introduction to her Life and Art), this case, donated by Lonnie Wishart, and styled after a Haida totem pole. It will keep your iPad free of dust and scratches and look nice while doing it.
32. Driftwood Foot Stool
Choose a good book (such as Rustic Furniture Workshop) and put your feet up on this foot stool donated by Alan Carl, who created it using of a single piece of cedar driftwood.
31. Lace Shawl
Inspired by the shawls and lace in classics like Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, this lace shawl was knit using hand painted yarn made from Bluefaced Leicester (wool). Likely more colourful than what was worn in Anne's time but just as good at keeping the shoulders and neck warm and decorated. The pattern was designed by Laura Nelkin.
30. Seasonal Aprons
This set of six aprons is meant to keep your clothes safe in the kitchen all year long. Created by Lynne Courillon, it was inspired by Tender at the Bone: Growing Up at the Table by Ruth Reichel which was brought in through our interlibrary loan service. There are aprons for all four seasons, Christmas, and Thanksgiving.
29. Japanese Inspired Table Runner
This table runner is made from floral Japanese floral fabric. Created by Dolly Harasym, it's been coupled with The Beauty of Japan by Nakayama Kaneyoshi. The runner is forty-one and a half inches long and fifteen inches wide.
28. Fused Glass Dish
This glass dish was inspired by Prince Rupert's natural beauty. Created by Moyna Macilroy, we've coupled it with Far Away Places: 50 Anchorages on the Northwest Coast by Iain Lawrence. The dish includes 3 layers of glass to capture the sea, beach, whales, bird and rain forest of Rupert.
27. Indian Inspired Fabric and Beaded Journal Cover
This fabric cover enfolds a six by eight and a half inch journal. Created by Adrienne Johnston, it was inspired by Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. The journal cover was designed, pieced hand-quilted and beaded by the creator.

This fabric cover enfolds a six by eight and a half inch journal. Created by Adrienne Johnston, it was inspired by The Street of a Thousand Blossoms by Gail Tsukiyama. The journal cover was designed, pieced and appliqued by the creator.
