34 - Lemon Loaf by Helen Moore

The recipe used for this lemon loaf comes from a former library colleague of Helen's, Julie Backer. Julie was famous in her library for appearing on Jeopardy and this baked treat. Here's to library, lemon loaves, and great colleagues! Please note the lemon loaf contains coconut.

33 - Handmaiden Scarf by Daisy Iverson

This scarf is made of silk and seacell, which is a fibre made of seaweed. It uses “Handmaiden” yarn from local Coastal Fibre, and took fifty hours to create the five foot long and foot wide scarf.

A beautiful pastel 30” by 40” knitted in the artist's own version of the “basket-weave” concept. It was created by using varigated baby wool, it took more than sixteen hours to create.

An extra small or youth sized fleece vest has been paired with a pair of warm striped socks and pouches of decadent hot chocolate to make a cozy kit, to help you relax and cocoon when you get a few moments away from the kids or whatever else intrudes in your life. The vest was begun by the late Jean Clerihue with the zipper added and finishing work completed by Trish Banighen.

25 - Magnetic Christmas Advent Calendar by Leah Cuthbert

A nifty idea spotted on Pinterest - the great black hole of the internet. The calendar is made using 24 mini Altoid tins. The tins are covered in bright polymer clay and decorated decorated with colourful Christmas motifs. Each tin currently holds a piece of chocolate, but there is room for more fiddly bits as your imagination dictates. The magnets make the tins easy to remove for filling and offer classic parental fun as you change the tin order every night after your child goes to bed! (or not).
